Used trucks are No.1 for Service Warehousing

The team at Service Warehousing have worked hard to get where they are. They started in 1989 and have been ‘logistically one step ahead’ ever since. They pride themselves on excellent customer service and hassle free logistics, a mantra that has served them extremely well when building their business in Radcliffe, Bury.

Driven by owner and Managing Director David Mason, Service Warehousing has steadily grown adding new customers and trucks as they’ve gone along. This year has seen the company invest in their latest truck, A 2015 Scania P250, 4x2 curtainsider.

Bought from Chris Hall, used truck sales executive from West Pennine Trucks, Middleton depot, the used truck had only done 28,000kms and was in excellent condition both inside and out.

This wasn’t the first time that David Mason had come to West Pennine Trucks used team when looking to expand his operation. In May 2012, he bought a ‘56 plate R270, 4X2 after looking at several options.

David Mason said, “In 2012, I wanted a Scania. Their rigid trucks had a reputation for being the best on the market. Excellent build quality, fuel economy and they hold their value. Once I got the truck it didn’t disappoint so when I started looking again at the end of 2016 I knew exactly where to start the search… West Pennine Trucks.”

Service Warehousing specialise most of their operation delivering textiles and packaging across the North West and this latest truck is helping fulfil larger customer orders and allowing the business to take on more work.

Mason continues, “We pushed the boat out to get the best used truck possible. Its Euro 6 engine makes us more efficient and sustainable and gives us the reliability we will definitely need as we continue to grow. Chris and the team at West Pennine Trucks have sourced us the quality truck we expected from Scania.”
